“ This place gets 5 stars for amazing street tacos. Not atmosphere. Mainly frequented by locals, not tourists. I had carne asada tacos. Friends had what's called chorreadas, which are like sopes, a thick, flat, small, corn tortilla topped with meat. Both were very generous portions. The carne asada was tender and well seasoned. They also have tripas which isn't my thing, but my hubby loved. Food is served with a tray of toppings, like onions wrapped in foil, then grilled, fresh onions marinated in lime juice, shredded lettuce, lime wedges, and different salsas. I must mention the power went out 4 times for a few seconds, but patrons calmly put their phones in flashlight mode. This place is just outside of the main plaza. Looks a bit seedy, but locals were friendly and we felt totally safe. Masks were required, our hands were sanitized and our temperature was taken. Even though we were all vaccinated, we didn't mind. We want locals to be safe. If you are adventurous and want great tacos, come here. ”
